Photographic Safari
Daily Overview
Leaving the bustling CBD of Adelaide behind our dedicated 4WD’s take you to the cockle town of Goolwa, about an hour’s easy drive. From Goolwa we embark on our own fully catered tour vessel for the journey past the mouth of the longest river in Australia, the Mighty Murray River. Stopping at our leisure to capture this most remote part of South Australia. Over 5 hours you will experience the Coorong in all it’s glory under the watchful eye of local Photographer Leon Mead, ultimately disembarking at a remote location on Younghusband Peninsula to be immersed in this richly indigenous land. Returning later in the afternoon provides the opportunity for rich golden light to flood the remote waterways of the Coorong, capturing migratory birdlife and local flora and fauna.
